We are looking for a brave and dedicated department manager for Kungsbacka health center.

With a focus on operations, we are seeking a leader on the ground who inspires and creates joy at work together with your employees and colleagues. You will be directly involved in developing and creating working methods that meet our patients' needs in a nuanced and modern way.

Responsibilities

As department manager, you will work alongside the health center's operations manager. You will work to drive the health center forward together with a team of competent employees.

Choosing us should be easy - A major focus is on ensuring that the health center has good accessibility and is tailored to the needs of the patients. You will work to ensure that the operations maintain high patient safety and quality of care in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.

You will be part of the health center's management team where you and your colleagues develop the operations to best meet the needs of the residents. You will also work to ensure a good working environment for all employees. As a department manager, you are an important part of the transformation journey that healthcare is undergoing, where the outside world is placing new demands on care and our operations need to constantly develop.

About the workplace

Kungsbacka health center is located at Kungsbacka hospital, we have approximately 14,000 registered patients of all ages and are Region Halland's largest health center. We are a team with all professions in primary care and a group that rarely lacks laughter, we thrive and want our patients to feel the same!

Qualifications

  • Background in a medical or nursing profession.
  • Education in leadership, e.g., our development program Tomorrow's Leaders.
  • Experience in personnel management and/or business development is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of scheduling is highly meritorious.
  • Experience working in healthcare in public administration, or equivalent private sector experience.
  • Previous experience in primary care and knowledge of revenue-based and competitive operations.

As a person, you find it easy to build and maintain good relationships with and between employees. Creating well-functioning teams with a sense of camaraderie ensures success and a good working environment. To succeed in the role, you need to be communicative and have the ability to engage and motivate your employees. You should be able to convey and clearly connect the health center's and primary care's goals and vision to both the daily and long-term work we perform. You also need to have the ability to utilize the expertise that your employees possess to take us in the direction we need to go.

As a leader, you are secure, stable, and self-aware. You are unpretentious and can tackle both big and small tasks to ensure the daily operations of the health center run optimally. You have a flexible approach and are willing to make decisions.

You have a good ability to structure, organize, and plan your assignment and have a strong interest in developing your managerial and leadership skills. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
